- Hardanger Fiddle Workshop (for Hardanger fiddle)
- For those who already play Norwegian folk music on the Hardanger fiddle. Participants will expand their repertoire and skill level through pieces from traditional to contemporary: gammeldans, springar, halling, vals, etc. The class is taught aurally, yet transcriptions are available upon request. Level of playing: Early Intermediate to Advanced.
- The Hardanger fiddle is Norway's traditional instrument of 4 or 5 extra resonating strings that are situated below the four playing strings. Participants need to have use of a Hardanger fiddle to participate in this workshop.

- For those who already play Norwegian folk music on the regular violin. - Norwegian Fiddling (for regular violin)
- Fiddlers will enjoy immersing themselves into the rich tonalities and rhythms of Norwegian folk music using the regular violin. Traditional dance styles as "vals", polka, and "halling" (a style unique to Norway) will be taught aurally along with contemporary folk tunes. Transcripts are available upon request. A recording devise is recommended. Playing level: Intermediate and advanced violin with or without fiddling experience or Norwegian fiddling experience.

- Norwegian Folk Ensemble (for mixed instruments)
- This fun and interacting ensemble of mixed instruments will be immersed into the rich tonalities and rhythms of Norwegian folk music. Various instruments encouraged: strings, winds, rhythm, etc. As this workshop will be taught aurally, a recording devise is recommended. State your instrument at registration.
